3x - 8x - 7 < 8

After subtracting, we get,

-5x - 7 < 8

Now, we swap the number,

-5x < 8 + 7

or, - 5x < 15

Now we divide each of the side by - 5. As we are dividing the inequality by a negative number, the symbol "<" will be reversed to ">".

[-5x ÷ (-5)] > [15 ÷ (-5)]

or, x > - 3

As we need to make it an absolute value, the solution is |3|
