The angle measured is 1.72 radians

Solution:

Given that radius is 9 units and arc length is 15.5 units

To find: angle,
\theta , in radians

The length of arc when angle in radians is given as:

s = r * \theta

Where, "r" is the radius and "s" is the arc length

\theta is central angle measured in radians

Substituting r = 9 and s = 15.5 in above formula,

15.5 = 9 * \theta\\\\\theta = (15.5)/(9)\\\\\theta = 1.72

Thus the angle measured is 1.72 radians
