So ∠B = ∠C

∠B = 47

∠ADC = ∠ADB

∠ADC + ∠ADB = 180 { straight angle}

2∠ADB =180

∠ADB = 180/2

x = 90

In ΔADB,

∠B + x + y = 180 { sum of all angles of triangle}

47 + 90 + y = 180

137 + y = 180

y = 180 - 137

y = 43
