slope (m)=y2-y1/x2-x1

=4-5/-1+3

=-1/2

we have, point slope form of an eqn is

y-y1=m (x-x1)

or, y-5=-1/2 (x+3)

or, 2y-10=-x-3

or, x+2y-7=0 is the required eqn
