Good evening ,

Answer:

(4/3 , 0)

Explanation:

y = -3x + 4 (1)

x + 1/3y = 4/3 (2)

(2) ⇔ (1/3)y=x-4/3 ⇔ y=3x-4 then the system can be written:

y = -3x + 4 (1)

y = 3x-4 (2)

In the second equation if we substitute y by its expression “-3x+4” we get

3x-4 = -3x+4 ⇔ 6x = 8 ⇔ x = 8/6 = 4/3

(1) y = -3x+4 = -3(4/3)+4 = 0

then (x,y) = (4/3 , 0).
