Answer

given,

Magnitude of force 1 = 25 N

Magnitude of force 2 = 15 N

a) Maximum net force

Force will be maximum when Both the force act in same direction.

now, maximum net force

F_(max) = F_1 + F_2

F_(max) =25 + 15

F_(max) =40 N

b) minimum net force

For will be minimum when one force is acting in opposite direction to another.

now, minimum net force

F_(min) = F_1 - F_2

F_(min) =25 - 15

F_(min) = 10 N
