Answer:

c) Polysaccharide granules

Step-by-step explanation:

c) Polysaccharide granules are a storage mechanism of starch (starch is a polysaccharide).

Glucose is a product of photosynthesis, and is used to produce energy. Starch is basically lots of glucose molecules joined together, and is stored in polysaccharide granules until it is required to generate energy

d) A heterotrophic organsim is an organism that cannot synthesise its own food. This includes animals and some types of bacteria. All eukaryotes except from green plants are heterotrophic. That means they don't produce food, but get their food from other sources.

Conditions that would favour a plant switching to being heterotrophic are if there is no light energy. Plants require light energy to provide the energy for photosynthesis. Without light energy, there would nee to be other mechanisms of food production.
