Answer:

For two different equations:

(3x+9)

x = -3

(4x+3)

x = -3/4

Finding x using both equations:

plug x = -3 into the other equation

4(-3) + 3 = -9

x = -9

plug x = -3/4 into the other equation

3(-4/3) + 9 = 27/4

x = 27/4

Set the equations equal to each other:

3x+9=4x+3

3x-4x = 3-9

-x = -3

x=3
