Like the character, a scrooge is a selfish person who doesn't like giving or spending. Scrooges keep a tight hold on every penny, even if they're rich. You can also call a scrooge a miser or skinflint. Someone generous is the opposite of a scrooge.

Make sure to put this in your own words :D

Being a scrooge basically someone who is miserable... they don't exactly like to do things that are fun. Such as playing with family, happy holidays, etc. They can also be quiet stingy with things like money.

In summary, a scrooge can be mean, someone who isn't into happy things. They are also kind of selfish.

Hope this helps!
