Emma says that the total perimeter of two squares with side lengths of 3 inches is the same as the perimeter of a rectangle with a length of 6 inches and width of 3 inches.is Emma correct? Why or why not

Explanation:

A square with a side of 3 inches has a perimeter of 3 + 3 + 3 + 3

= 3 x 4 = 12

So, for two squares, we have

Total perimeter = 12 x 2 = 24
