angle A + angle B = 180 (linear pair)

3x - 20 + 2x = 180

5x - 20 = 180

5x = 180 + 20

5x = 200

x = 200 ÷ 5

x = 40

angle A = (3x - 20) = 3 × 40 - 20 = 120 - 20

= 100

angle C = (2x -15) = 2 × 40 - 15 = 80 - 15

= 65
