Given that, Stephanie has 523 jars of slime

She wants to share them with Kayla, Kevin and Dianna

They all want to receive the same number of slime

Total number of persons = Stephanie, Kayla, Kevin and Dianna

Total persons = 4

So, 523 jars have to be divided equally among 4 persons

We know that 523 divided by 4 will give decimal value (130.75)

The nearest whole number to 523 that is divisible by 4 is 520

Whehn 520 is divided by 4, we get 130

Thus each of them will get 130 jars

Therefore, number of jars left over is given by:

left over jars = 523 - 520 = 3
