-(3-6b)=6b + 5 .remember to balance!!!!

-6b + 6b= 6b + 6b

-3=12b+5

-3+5=5-5

-8=12b now divide since its the inverse operation

think 12/-8= -1 1/2

so B equals - 1 1/2
