Answer: Robin's weight after a series of changes is 200 pounds .

Explanation:

Given : Robin weighed 175 pounds.

i.e. Weight of Robin before series =175 pounds

In integers , we take negative values of number if it represents" loss" and we take positive values of number if it represents "gain".

Robin's weight after a series of changes, a gain of 7 lb., a loss of 5 lb., a gain of 12 lb., a loss of 6 lb., and gain of 17 lb , will be

Robin's weight after a series of changes = Weight of Robin before series + 7 lb -5 lb +12 lb -6 lb+17 lb

i.e. Robin's weight after a series of changes = 175+7-5+12-6+17 pounds

i.e. Robin's weight after a series of changes = 200 pounds

Therefore , Robin's weight after a series of changes is 200 pounds .
