Write the point-slope form of the equation of the line passing through the points (-5, 6) and (0, 1).

y+6=-1(x - 5)
4-6=-1(x+5)
y+6 = 1(X-5)
Y- 6 = 1(x + 5)

Start by finding slope difference of y’s over difference of x’s
y-y1=m(x-x1)
Pick either point
y-6=-1(x+5)
