The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees. Therefore.

Angle A + angle B + angle C = 180. Therefore,

20 + 35 + angle C = 180

55 + angle C = 180

Angle C = 180 - 55 = 125 degrees. To determine the length if a, we would apply the sine rule which is expressed as

a/SinA = b/SinB = c/SinC

Therefore,

a/Sin20 = 100/Sin125

aSin125 = 100sin20

a × 0.8192 = 0.342 × 100

0.8192a = 34.2

a = 34.2/0.8192

a = 41.75
