Answer: We expect 140 mice to turn left.

Explanation:

Given : The researchers believed that the probability of a mouse turning left due to the food is 0.7.

So , if we imagine that 200 mice are sent through the maze one at a time. .

Then , the number of mice we expect that turned left = (Probability of a mouse turning left ) x (Total mice)

Therefore , the number of mice we expect that turned left = (0.7)x(200)

i.e. the number of mice we expect that turned left =140

Hence, We expect 140 mice to turn left.
