Four-thirds = 4/3

Times = Multiplication

Sum = Addition

n = Unknown number

4/3n + 8 = 24 (If I'm not mistaken)

First, move 8 behind 24 and subtract 24 - 8 = 16

4/3n = 16

Now move 4/3 to the right and divide by 16

n = 4/3 ÷ 16 = 1/12

The number is 1/12
