51 questions were correct

Solution:

Given that Justin got 85 % of the questions correct on his math exam

There were 60 questions

To find: number of correct questions

From given information,

85 % of the questions correct on his math exam which means, 85 % of total number of questions are correct

Therefore number of correct questions can be found by calculating 85 % of total questions which is 85 % of 60

number of correct questions = 85 % of 60

\rightarrow 85 \% * 60\\\\\rightarrow (85)/(100) * 60\\\\\rightarrow 0.85 * 60 = 51

Thus 51 questions were correct
