Answer:
Mitosis occurs during growth of somatic cells and asexual reproduction, Meiosis occurs during gamete reproduction.
Mitosis two daughter cells are formed, Meiosis four daughter cells are formed.
Mitosis no crossing over occurs, Meiosis crossing over occurs.
Mitosis chromosome number of parent and daughter cells is the same, Meiosis the chromosome number of daughter cells is half the number in the parent cell.
Mitosis offspring by mitosis are exact replicates or clones of the parent organism, Meiosis offspring produced by meiosis will show variations among themselves and their parents.
