Answer:

3x-y=1 is in the form Ax+By=c

where A=3, B=-1, C=1

Explanation:

we have to convert the equation y-5=3(x-2) to the form Ax + By = C.

the equation y-5=3(x-2) is in the form
y-y_(1) =m(x-x_(1) )

which is the point slope form of a straight line in cartesian coordinate.

where m is the slope of the line and
x_(1) ,y_(1) is the point through which the line is passing through.

therefore y-5=3(x-2) becomes y-5 = 3x-6

y-5+6=3x

y+1=3x

3x-y=1

this equation is in the form Ax+By=c

therefore comparing these two equations we get

A=3, B=-1, C=1
