Answer:

The simplified polynomial in standard form is 3 x² + 2 x - 1 .

Explanation:

Given as :

The two polynomial is

The first polynomial = 4 x² and

The second polynomial = (x - 1)²

Or, second polynomial = x² - 2 x + 1

Now, Subtraction polynomial two from polynomial one

i.e 4 x² - ( x² - 2 x + 1 )

Now, opening the brackets

So, 4 x² - x² + 2 x - 1

Or, (4 - 1) x² + 2 x - 1

Or, 3 x² + 2 x - 1

Hence,The simplified polynomial in standard form is 3 x² + 2 x - 1 . Answer
