To find the distance between two points you've got to use the distance formula which is √ (x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2

First you would plug in your points to get

√ (-4+10)^2+(-2+2)^2

Then you would simplify your equation to get

√ 6^2 + 0

√ 36

Square Root of 36 is 6

Your distance is 6 units
