The formula for area of a hexagon is:

Area = 1/4 * 6 * s^2 * cot(PI/6) , where s is the length of a side.

Area = 1/4 * 6 * 8^2 * cot(PI/6) = 166.276 square cm. ( Round the answer as needed).
