Answer:

Tide is a form of aeration and fishes have different demands for dissolved oxygen. And according to that they are been stratified in zones according to their habitation in the sea body.

Step-by-step explanation:

Tides is the raising and falling of the sea. This singular act favors what we call aeration .Aeration is the introduction of oxygen into a body of water. This act breaks down iron, increases dissolved oxygen and reduces biological oxygen demand.

Most fishes survives well in water with a lot of dissolved oxygen, and that's why in water fish pond design ,the kind of fish is taken into consideration and look up on the amount of oxygen needed for it's proper growth and survival is taken into consideration.

A change in tides brings fishes who needs a loot of dissolved oxygen to the top of the sea, while those with little need of dissolved oxygen stays below the sea.
