Add x to both sides
2-2x=-8
Subtract 2 from not sides
-2x=-10
Divide both sides by -2
X=5

Answer:

x = 5

Explanation:

Move the variable to the left side and change it's sign then move constant to the right side and change its sign you will get -3x+x = -8-2 collect like terms then calculate the difference you will get -2x = -10 Divide both sides of the equations by -2 and you will get x =5
