Answer:

1. Area of sector is 14.14 sq.m

2. Length of the missing side is 10 cm

Explanation:

1.)

Using formula:

  • Area of sector = θ/360° × π r²

Where,

  • θ = 45°
  • Radius (r) = 6m

Substituting the required values:

→ Area = 45°/360° × 22/7 × (6)²

→ Area = 0.125 × 22 × 36/7

→ Area = 2.75 × 36/7

→ Area = 99/7

→ Area = 14.14 sq.m

2.)

In given right angled traingle:

  • Perpendicular = 6 cm
  • Base = 8 cm
  • Hypotenuse = ?

Using Pythagoras theorem,

  • (H)² = (B)² + (P)²

where,

  • H is hypotenuse
  • B is Base
  • P is perpendicular

Substituting the required values:

→ (Hypotenuse)² = (8)² + (6)²

→ (Hypotenuse)² = 64 + 36

→ (Hypotenuse)² = 100

→ Hypotenuse = √100

→ Hypotenuse = 10 cm

Hence,

  • Hypotenuse of Traingle is 10 cm
