Answer:

c.51° & 129°

Explanation:

Using principle of linear equation,

1.We make unknown <s, x and y

2. x plus y equals 180(b'cos supp.<s sum up to 180°) ∴all options which don't sum up to 180° are logically eliminated.

3.One of the <s is 24 less than thrice the other <. We can make the variable(x) be thrice the other(y) and subtract 24 from it, making it"24 less than"

∴x is thrice y,x equals 3y & also has 24 being subtracted from it(3y-24) so equation which was:x plus y equals 180,now becomes 3y-24 plus y equals 180°

Upon solving, we get

4y equals 204,dividing through by 4

∴y equals 51°

x equals 3y-24

equals 51 (3)-24

equals 153-24 equals 129°.

∴y equals 51°, x equals 129°.
