What would happen if we remove a producer from a food web?

Primary consumers (herbivores), which feast on producers directly, would die off. Including us humans, since we get our food from the earth's soil, in other words, from plants. Secondary consumers (carnivores) are the next to be affected: they are the ones that eat primary consumers. Superior consumers would suffer as organisms of lower trophic levels begin to die off. Decomposers would break down corpses of dead animals, returning their fundamental components and composites to the environment. Nevertheless, even these dead organisms would run out, and the entire food web would collapse.
