simba travel agency arranges trips for climbing mount kilimanjaro. for each trip they charge an initial fee of $100 in addition to a constant fee each vertical meter climbed. for instance, the price for climbing to the shira volcanic cone, which is 3000 meters above the base of the mountain is $400. let F represent the fee (in dollars) of the trip where they climbed d vertical meters

Answer:

Explanation:

it takes $400 to travel 3000 meters....take out the $ 100 initial fee...so it actually takes $ 300 for just the climb....so it takes $ 300 for 3000 meters....then thats 300/3000 = $ 0.10 per meter

so ur equation would be :

F = 100 + 0.10d

Answer:

f=100+0.10d

Explanation:

it takes $400 to travel 3,0000 meters take out the $100 initial fee so it actually takes $300 for just the climb so it takes $300 for 3,000 meters and when you divide 300/3000=$0.10per meter
