“Teach It” Tuesday

Think of one thing you are really good at. How would you teach it to someone else? You may list it in 7 or more steps or write a paragraph that contains 7 or more sentences. Don’t forget to mention any important rules or directions.

Personally, for me, I am good at playing the drums. I would teach somebody little by little. First, I would teach them timing, then I would show them how to count bars and measures, last, I would show them how to play a four count. I will always be asking the student how they are doing with this their new talent or "gift", and I would have practices with them daily. When they have the basics down then I would go to the next step the "boots and cats" beat. Very simple beat, but it requires independence from each body part.
