x=2 and y = 2

Explanation:

Im going to use GeoGebra for graphing the 2 lines. I always find it helpful to move y to side of the equation and the rest of the equation to another side. This is the slope intercept equation by the way. We get our equations as y = -2x+6 and y= 2x-2.

You can find that the common point is (2,2) between the lines.
