The complement of an angle has a measure of 250° less than twice the measure of the supplement of the angle. Find the measure of the angle.

Explanation:

x = the angle

90 - x = the complement of the angle

180 - x = the supplement of the angle

90 - x = 2(180 - x) - 250 = 360 - 2x - 250 = 110 - 2x

-x = 20 - 2x

x = 20°
