  • Mass=m=80kg
  • Distance=x=0.120m

Apply Hooke's law


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail F=kx


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail mg=kx


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 80(10)=0.120k


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 800=0.12k


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail k=6666.67N/m

  • No spring constant remains same so spring won't be compressed.
