Do binary stars collide?I want the answer from an expert with evidence for thier expertise​

Collisions involving more than two stars can be quite common during binary–single and binary–binary interactions, since the product of a first collision between two stars expands adiabatically following shock heating, and therefore has a larger cross-section for subsequent collisions with the remaining star or stars
