Please remember that complementary angles add up to 90 degrees.
Let's set up an equation in order to find the 2 angles.
- Let the unknown angle be w.
w+33.4=90
That's only half of our equation, because we have two angles.
So the right equation is
w+w+33.4=90
Add the w's:
2w+33.4=90
Subtract 33.4 from both sides:
2w=90-33.4
2w=56.6
Divide both sides by 2:
w=28.3
Add 33.4:
28.3+33.4=61.7
Add the angles together:
61.7+28.3=90
