Answer:

Explanation:

Break up the shape into two parts: a trapezoid and a half-circle.

For trapezoid,

Area = (top+botton)*height/2

= (8+26)*10/2

= 34*5

= 170m^2

Perimeter = sum of sides

= 13.5+8+13.5

= 35m

For half circle,

Area = pi*radius^2/2

= 3.14*(26/2)^2/2

= 3.14*13^2/2

= 265.33m^2

Perimeter = pi*diameter/2

= 3.14*26/2

= 40.82m

Combining the above, for the shape

Area = 170+265.33

= 435.33m^2

Perimeter = 35+40.82

= 75.82m

  • R=26/2=13m

Circumference of semicircle

  • πr
  • 13π

Now

  • Total perimeter=13π+13.5+13.5+8=35+13πm

Area:-

For trapezoid

  • 1/2(8+26)(10)
  • 5(34)
  • 170m^2

For semicircle

  • 1/2πr^2=1/2π13^2
  • 169π/2
  • 84.5π m^2

Total area:-

  • 170+84.5πm^2
