For this case we must find the value of "x" that meets the following equation:

\frac {4} {3} = x + \frac {10} {15}

We subtract
\frac {10} {15} on both sides of the equation:

\frac {4} {3} - \frac {10} {15} = x\\\frac {15 * 4-3 * 10} {3 * 15} = x\\\frac {60-30} {45} = x\\- \frac {30} {45} = x

We simplify:

x =\frac {6} {9}=(2)/(3)

Finally,
x =\frac {2} {3}

Answer:

x =\frac {2} {3}
