  • y=1/3x+3

Slope=m=1/3

  • Slope of the perpendicular line=-3
  • Passes through (1,-2)

Equation in point slope form


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y-y_1=m(x-x_1)


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y+2=-3(x-1)


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y+2=-3x+3


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=-3x+1
