Answer:

Let's solve for the rectangle above, using the formula;

A = L*W

Replace those values:-

A = L*W

A = 3(15)

A = 45, is the area of the above rectangle.

Now for the middle rectangle, using the formula;

A = L*W

Replace those values:-

A = L*W
A = 8(9)

A = 72, is the area of the middle rectangle.

Now to solve for the circle below we know it's 1/4 of a regular circle, so using our formula and using 3.14 for pi;

A = π
r^(2) x 1/4

Replace those values:-

A = 3.14(6^2) x 1/4

A = 3.14(36) x 1/4

A = 113.04 x 1/4

A = 113.04/4

A = 28.26, is the area of the quartered square.

Now we add all the areas together;

45 + 72 + 28.26

= 145.26 square centimetres, is your area of the whole entire figure.
