This is where the majority of bills die. If a bill survives the committee stage, it is then being sent to the Calendars Committee to be schelduled for a debate. A bill must have a two-thirds majority to pass in the Senate. Then the bill is sent for a governor to action - he can make it into law, it can be allowed to become law without governor's signature, or it can be vetoed.
