It will be 45 because from A is 40 and B is 5 and 40+5=45

The bearing of A from B according to the diagram is 82.86°

Using trigonometric relations ;

  • Tan B = opposite/ Adjacent

B = bearing of A from B

Now we have;

Tan B = 40 /5

Tan B = 8

Take the inverse value of the tangent ;

B = Tan^(-1) (8)

B = 82.86°

Hence, the bearing of A from B is 82.86°
