Research and find out what causes flooding and explain What are the physical factors and the human factors that cause flooding from rivers?

Causes of flooding:

• Soil that's dry or compacted.
• Rock that doesn't let water go through (Impermeable).
• Raining for longs periods of time.
• Melting large amounts of snow.
• Soil that's already wet which causes the water to not pass.

Two main human factors that can cause flooding is deforestation and urbanization. The deletion of trees increases the amount of water that flows while having lots of trees decreases the amount of water that passes. Urbanization makes the land impermeable which causes the water not to pass and flood.
