If a graph is negative the highest point is on the left side, and the values decrease.
If a graph is positive the highest point is on the right side, and the values increase.
In this case, the highest point is on the left side, so the slope is negative
Step 2: Finding slope
To find slope remember the equation when working with a graph— m= rise/ run
This means that from one point to another, you have to find how many units is up and down between it/ how many units is left or right between it
Using points (0,2) and (1,0) I can see that the slope is -2/1 but we can leave this as -2
