Find two numbers such that their difference equals 1/2 and their squares are equal.

(I really need help with this it’s due tonight so if anyone could help me with this please)

Explanation:

We need to find 2 numbers with a difference of 1/2 and equal squares. Two different numbers will have equal squares only if they are opposites. That means that they are the same distance from 0 too. So each number have to be 1/4 away from 0. Thus, the answers are 1/4 and -1/4.
