China has a one-child policy that encourages families to only have one child. Families who have more children may face fines and other restrictions. The policy has been successful in slowing population growth in the country. Do you think policies like this are a good idea? Would you support a policy like this in your own country?

Answer:

Well China later on changed the policy that you can have multiple. The reason was to have families to only have one child to curb a then-surging population and alleviate social, economic, and environment problems in China. The policies wasn't a good idea because families that more than one child had to pay around 50,000 USD to keep one more than one child as the policy was still in China. In 2015, they remove the one-child policy and in 2021 they added a two-child then in May a three-child limit policy. Finally in July they removed all the policies.

I wouldn't support a own country like this cause who is going to pay money to keep a child. The policies isn't a good idea that means the country is "I like money" So all countries should not have a limit.

Hope this helps.

Have a great New Year :)

Answer:

Yes, it has been successful in controlling China's population growth. why? well because the one-child policy was a way that China tried to control the population in their country. The main rule was that one family could only have one child but could have a second child if the first one was disabled. this answer also states what it was. and yes I would support something like this because it worked well and was successful.
