Answer:

The Executive Branch conducts diplomacy with other nations and the President has the power to negotiate and sign treaties, which the Senate ratifies. The President can issue executive orders, which direct executive officers or clarify and further existing laws.

A few powers the president can do include:

-veto bills and sign bills (but cannot make laws)

-enforce laws Congress passes

-become a representative of the nation

-call out troops to protect nation

-nominate Cabinet members and Supreme Court Justices

-talk to the people of the nation

While the executive branch can do this:

-carries out laws

-enforces laws

-veto, reject, or propose a law

-appoint federal judges

-grant pardon (forgiveness) for a crime.
