this is because the slope is the slopes are the same in both equations so they will cancel each other.

All values of x :-
3x + 8 = 3x + 8 has Infinite solutions .
Just one value of X :-
3x + 8 = 3x + x is equal to 3x + 8 = 4x , which has one solution at x= 8 .
