When solving: 1,175 ÷ 5, using partial quotients, how would you decide which power of 10, when multiplied by 5, should be subtracted first? plz help! That would be so great if you did! :)

It equals 235. Using the quotient 10x 5 would make it 9,765,625 so I would subtract it first
