Find the slope:

Going from (-4,5) to (-2,-1):

Rise = (-1 - 5) = -6

Run = (-2-(-4) = 2

Slope = Rise/Run = (-6/2) = -3

y = mx + b

y = -3x + b

Find b by using either given point. I'll use (-2,-1)

y = -3x + b

-1 = -3(-2) + b

b = -7
